Edward Truman Smithey, age 76 of Cumberland Furnace, passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at his home.
A private memorial service will be held.
Truman entered this life on May 4, 1946 in Guthrie, KY to the late Lee and Annie Gullett Smithey. He was an outdoorsman and enjoyed deer hunting. Truman worked for Trane Company in the maintenance department.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Lee E. Smithey; granddaughters, Amanda Lee Smithey, and Terry Nicole Hartman; siblings, Bobby Lee Smithey, Mary Lovelace, and Judy Lee.
Survivors include his loving wife, Juanita Groves Smithey; granddaughter, Becky Smithey (Preston Farmer); sister, Betty (James) Corlew.
