Edward James (Jim) Colby, age 81, of Clarksville passed away on Friday, January 8, 2021.
A Private Service will be held at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Pastor Joe Voight officiating. Burial will be at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
Edward entered into this life on March 4, 1939, to the late Raymond and Bertha Reed Colby. He retired from Trane as a quality analyst. As a young man, Edward served in the U.S. Army and was a Vietnam Veteran. He was also a Christian and a lifelong member of the DAV.
In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his wife, Priscilla “Pat” Jean Colby; daughter, Sandra Colby; grandchild, Michael Zegilla.
Survivors include his son and his wife, Tony and Penny Colby; daughter, Sue Ann Thornton; grandchildren, Kristina Pike, Mary Hamilton, Brandon Barnett, and Alyssa Shrober; and 8 great-grandchildren.
