Dotson Suiter

Dotson C. Suiter, Jr. age 89 of Clarksville passed away Monday, May 17, 2021 at his home.

Celebration of Life will be 4 p.m. Thursday, May 20, 2021 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Rev. Terry Bear, Rev. David Mackens and his son, Buddy Suiter officiating. Burial will follow at Keesee Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, May 19, 2021 from 4-8 p.m. and again on Thursday from 2 p.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.

Dotson entered this life on March 8, 1932 in Montgomery County, TN to the late Dotson Suiter, Sr. and Ada Mae Rose Suiter. He was a member of Baggett’s Chapel Church of God of Prophecy. Dotson was a Veteran of The National Guard and retired from the Water Treatment Department for the City of Clarksville. Not only was Dotson a Champion Boat Racer, but he also won a National Hydro-Plane Championship. He and his wife had a wood work craft business for many years, and his greatest joy was spending time with his family.

Survivors include his loving wife of 68 years, Elnora Norfleet Suiter; children, Buddy (Amy) Suiter, Janice (Bobby) Davis, and Judy (Jerry) Casey; grandchildren, Shannon Casey, Kevin Casey, David Davis, Mary Beth Bisogno, Kelsey Keaton, and Ethan Suiter; eleven greatgrandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Shannon Casey, Kevin Casey, David Davis, Ethan Suiter, Jerry Casey, and Bobby Davis. Honorary Pallbearers will be the great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
