David Ron Warrick, age 62, of Clarksville passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2020.

A Celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, May 15, 2020 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Lannom and Rev Mike Rittenberry officiating. Burial will follow at Batson Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 14, 2020 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

David and his twin, Steven entered into this life on February 24, 1958 in Clarksville, TN to Margie Marie Young. He attended Heart and Soul Non-Denominational Church. He loved music. He could tell you the name, the artist and kind of music if it was blues, country, Rock and Roll, blue grass or if it was bad music to include the era. He loved NASCAR, fast cars, his MG, hunting for wild mushrooms and ginseng. He loved the outdoors and animals; he was very kind to all animals, and he loved the water. He loved his family and would always say “You marvelous darling”. David was the nicest man you ever wanted to meet until you made him mad. He was a great storyteller, a family historian and great mechanic. He was Our Warrior and hero.

David is preceded in death by Roger Warrick and Margie Roy.

Survivors include his wife, Cecelia Warrick; sons, Derrick Gaither, and Kevin Gaither; daughters, Alicia Dubach, and Olivia Warrick; granddaughter, Ava Warrick; twin brother, Steven Warrick, and brother, Hank Roy; sisters, Loretta Cordova, Bobbie Miceli, Terri Burge, Neda Linville, and Pam Hanson. He is also survived by Judith Warrick, wife of Roger, biological father, Bobby Rudder and his wife, Elizabeth, who David dearly loved.

Pallbearers will be Derrick Gaither, Kevin Gaither, Steven Warrick, Ryan Holiday, Jonathan Young, Lewis Gregg, Jeremy Richardson, and Michael Brock.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Heart and Soul Ministries, 597 Eddinburgh Way, Clarksville, TN 37043.

I would like to express my condolences to my niece , Olivia & Alicia and the passing of my brother their father.... Me and my brother David did not always get along but I could always depend on him.. If I needed to... I know despite our disagreements that he loved me and I loved him in my own way.. David always was willing to Help many people in the Clarksville area especially if it was a car problem or something of that nature.... David was very giving especially where his children and his immediate family were concerned.. Sometimes his Kindness was taking advantage of but that speaks to his character even after Many disappointments and let Downs he never turned anyone away...... David my brother you had many adventures in this life you had a hard road hard journey.. The only thing my brother loved more than his children and his family were animals of all kinds.. You had many adventures , As you put it where some were cautious you dove into the abyss and I'm sure you'll have more adventures in the afterlife... Rest in peace man love your brother (Hank)....

David always brought joy when he entered a room. He loved his church family and of course music. If he was feeling bad, he never showed it! He will be missed! Rest In Peace my brother!
