C.B. Black

C.B. Black, Jr., age 60 of Southside, TN born April 19, 1959 died December 2, 2019.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 12 p.m. Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Rev. James Black officiating. Burial will follow at Miller’s Chapel Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Tuesday. December 3, 2019 from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. and again Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
C.B. was an avid hunter, farmer and outdoorsman. He was a loving husband, father and papa to four grandchildren. C.B. hunted, fished and farmed his entire life. When he wasn't farming or chasing deer he was teaching his children and grandchildren how to do so. One of C.B.’s favorite things to do was sit at Southside store and chat with his friends.
C.B. was preceded in death by his father C.B. Black, Sr. and his mother, Claytie Black and his baby sister Virginia Denton.
He is survived by his wife, Pat, daughter Ginny, sons Dan (Christa), David (Caroline), his four grandchildren, Jackson (Big Man), Bentley (Little Man), Paisley (Precious Angel) and Jace (Little Buddy), brothers, L.D. and Bruce, sisters, Frances, Lucille, Brenda, Annette, and Peggy.
Pallbearers will be Ricky Denton, Michael Brewster, Cary Dunn, Brandon Delozier, Kurt Heber and Don Dewitt.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St.Jude Children's Research Hospital.
