Calvin Moore

July 22, 1951 — November 5, 2022

Calvin Hale Moore, age 71, of Clarksville, passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2022, at Tennova Healthcare.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, with Rev. Harriet Bryan officiating. Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Calvin entered into this life on July 22, 1951, in Montgomery County to the late Wilton and Nettie Smith Moore. Calvin graduated from Austin Peay State University with his master’s degree where he became an adjunct mass communications professor. He was a member of Woodlawn United Methodist Church and enjoyed attending Madison Street United Methodist Church. Calvin was an accomplished musician and recorded many of his own songs.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by sisters, Ruth Williams and Angie Reece; brother, Wilton Moore.
Survivors include his loving wife, Shirley Harris Moore; brother, John Phillip Moore; several nephews and nieces.
